About Us

Urjavya Foundation

We work to empower underprivileged sections of society, by providing them with literacy, nutrition awareness, & sustainable development techniques leading to holistic progress.

The Urjavya Foundation derives its name from the Sanskrit term ‘Urjavya’, which means to empower. The Urjavya Foundation, established in November 2020, is built on the framework of ensuring transparency through good governance, development, and holistic welfare for the larger community. Recognizing livelihood as one of the toughest yet most rewarding areas for any organization to focus on, it demands a longitudinal or long-term commitment to work with the beneficiary community.
Determined to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals laid down by the United Nations, Urjavya is focusing on No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being, Gender Equality, Reduced Inequalities, Sustainable Cities, and Communities.

Nutrition Kits Distribution

We appreciate Ms. Lalita, the ASHA worker, for her assistance in distributing the nutrition kits for expecting mothers at Kudlu, which have been designed to meet the nutrition requirements outlined in the Guidelines of the National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. We extend our gratitude to our strategic partner, Chilume Social Service Society, for their support in this initiative.

Programs

Women Health Care

Urjavya is dedicated to improve the health of pregnant women by providing essential support and resources. One of the key components of this program is the distribution of nutrition kits specifically tailored to meet the dietary needs of expectant mothers. These kits contain essential nutrients recommended by healthcare experts to support healthy pregnancy outcomes. Through this initiative, the NGO aims to address nutritional deficiencies and promote the overall well-being of pregnant women and their unborn babies.
Additionally, the program includes educational sessions on proper nutrition and maternal health practices to empower women with knowledge and awareness. By combining nutritional support with education and outreach efforts, the NGO strives to make a positive impact on the health of pregnant women and their families, ultimately contributing to healthier communities.
